Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meimaryan visited UNDP projects in Gegharkunik and Tavush regions
During the first day of the official visit to Armenia, Ivana Zhivkovich, Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, Deputy Administrator of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS countries, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meimaryan and UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia Natia Natsvlishvili visited UNDP programs held in Gegharkunik and Tavush regions.

In particular, the distribution of the water sector, the implemented policy, and the issues related to Lake Sevan, the Ararat artesian basin, the protection of water resources, the problems related to the supply of drinking and irrigation water were addressed.
