Deputy Minister Aram Meymaryan took part in the final forum of the EU-funded Partnership against Pollution of Rural Green Spaces program. The program is aimed at improving the quality of the environment and reducing the dewatering of rivers in rural areas, supporting the introduction of modern waste management experience and environmental awareness in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Romania.

Seminar on the problems of access and quality assurance of statistical data required for national reporting on climate change
Within the framework of the UNDP/GEF program "Building the national transparency framework of Armenia in accordance with the Paris Agreement", carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, a seminar was held on the topic "Problems of ensuring the availability and quality of statistical data necessary for national reporting on climate change". The purpose of the seminar was to discuss with stakeholders and the expert community the indicators necessary for Armenia's accountability under the Framework Convention on Climate Change, to compile a list of indicators that need improvement, and to outline a range of further work in this direction. Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan delivered the opening speech at the seminar.
