A system of extended producer responsibility will be introduced in Armenia
The introduction of a waste management system based on the principle of extended producer or importer responsibility in Armenia is a really important tool that will contribute to the development of a closed-cycle economy, reduce the impact of products and their packaging on the environment and will stimulate the implementation of the "polluter pays" principle, assigning responsibility to the manufacturer for the entire life cycle of products.

As part of the control measures, 75 illegal crustaceans were removed from Lake Sevan
Today, as a result of control measures carried out by the special purpose detachment of the Sevan National Park, 75 illegal crustaceans were removed and seized from the lake.
By the decision of the government, only commercial whitefish fishing is allowed in Lake Sevan, and the permitted norms for catching crayfish are not established.
