As part of the control measures, 75 illegal crustaceans were removed from Lake Sevan

Today, as a result of control measures carried out by the special purpose detachment of the Sevan National Park, 75 illegal crustaceans were removed and seized from the lake.
By the decision of the government, only commercial whitefish fishing is allowed in Lake Sevan, and the permitted norms for catching crayfish are not established.
Hunting tools taken out of the lake are included in the list of prohibited.
Recall that according to Article 88 of the RA Code of Administrative Offences՝
Violation of the rules for the protection of animals, including fish stocks, hunting and fishing, as well as hunting for other types of animals that use the animal world -
entails the imposition of a fine on citizens in the amount of seventy to one hundred times the established minimum wage, and on officials -from one hundred to two hundred times the size with confiscation of guns and hunting means that are the personal property of the violator, as well as other objects and animals that are considered to be the instrument of committing these violations:
Gross violation of hunting rules (Hunting without her permission or in prohibited places, or at prohibited times, or with prohibited tools or methods), as well as periodic violation of other hunting rules -
entails the imposition of a fine on citizens in the amount of 100-fold to 200-fold of the established minimum wage, and on officials -from 100-fold to 200-fold with the confiscation of guns and hunting equipment considered personal property of the violator, as well as other objects and animals considered a means of committing these violations, and deprivation of the right to hunt for up to 3 years:
We also inform you that the control measures will be of a prolonged nature.
