Aviation and biological warfare activities are being carried out in the forests
On June 26 of this year, aviation and biological warfare activities started in the forests.
In previous years, the air fight was conducted by chemical means, and this year - by biological means. This type of struggle is aimed at a deeper fight against the development of diseases and the reproduction of damage, providing a long-term result.

Within the Support Programme for Protected Areas - Armenia (SPPA-A), the required needs for office space for three local organizations and agencies (Zangezur Biosphere Complex (ZBC) SNCO, Hayantar National Forest Administration – Kapan Branch and the Southern Territorial Basin Management Division of Water Resources Management Agency) were de-fined.

In response to Azerbaijan's statement regarding the Yeraskhum metal smelter
According to Article 2 of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (hereinafter referred to as the Convention) "Each Party shall take the necessary legislative, administrative and other measures to implement the provisions of this Convention, including significant adverse transboundary impacts listed in Annex 1 for the types of planned activities involved, the definition of such a procedure for environmental impact assessment, which will provide for public participation, as well as the preparation of documents related to the environmental impact assessment provided for in Annex 2.

The Statement of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia
The steel plant in the territory of the Republic of Armenia will be constructed in accordance with the environmental standards and requirements, within the framework of domestic legal regulations. Azerbaijan's statement regarding the negative transboundary impact on the environment as a result of the operation of the plant is groundless and does not correspond to reality.
