Large-scale tree planting on the shore of Lake Sevan: 10.000 saplings were planted within the framework of "10 million trees" initiative
Today's tree planting - within the framework of "10 million trees" initiative - was focused not only on increasing the forested areas in our country, but also symbolized the revival of our statehood and people in the post-war period. An area was chosen where it would be possible to ensure the further care and protection of the planted trees.

Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan participated in the clean-up activities and large tree planting in Gegharkunik region
In the course of the visit, the Minister was accompanied by RA Deputy Minister of Environment Anna Mazmanyan, Gegharkunik Region Deputy Governor Narek Manukyan, Acting Director of "Sevan” national park SNCO Arman Abelyan, and other officials. Romanos Petrosyan took part in the clean-up activities on the public beach of Sevan, joining the employees of "Sevan” national park, who conducted beach cleaning.
