Road signs will be installed in areas where red deer can be found
In response to the videos and photos that appeared on the Internet on February 16, showing a walk of Caucasian red deer on the road from Dilijan to the tunnel, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Armenia) reports that work will begin in the near future to install road signs warning about red deer on the relevant road sections.

We urge you to be more attentive and alert when driving on this section of the road, especially at night. Animals are confused and may end up in a dangerous part of the road.

Welcoming his colleagues in the Ministry of Environment, Minister Hakob Simidyan congratulated Petr Pirunchik on his appointment and referred to the Armenian-Czech intergovernmental relations and, in particular, the cooperation in the field of environment, describing them as having a rich agenda and effective.
