- 14 July 2023 The delegation headed by Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany Jens Brandenburg the meeting with partners of SEVAMOD2 project took place on Lake Sevan The primary objective of the meeting was to familiarize the delegation with the environmental issues in Lake Sevan and to present selected outcomes of the project as an example for intense German-Armenian research collaboration. SEVAMOD2 project was financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Also potential research topics and modes of Armenian-German cooperation were discussed. Both sides agreed that the bilateral cooperation were extremely successful and of mutual benefit. The delegation encouraged the team to proceed this good collaboration between the two countries in order to address the challenges faced by Lake Sevan and its surrounding environment.
