“Environmental Projects Implementation Unit” of the Ministry of Environment announces a tender within “Strengthening land based adaptation capacity in communities adjacent to protected areas in Armenia” project scopes targeted at development of design-estimate documents for construction of irrigation network in Gosh and Khachardzan of Dilijan enlarged community, Tavush region, Urcadzor and Shaghap villages of Urcadzor enlarged community, Ararat region.

It took place the second session of the newly formed Public Council attached to the Minister at the Ministry of Environment
Earlier, in a bid to ensure the full-fledged participation of civil society in the process of addressing the problems of the Ministry of Environment, reforms and implementation of strategic projects, a new public council was set up by the order of the Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan.

Joint Monitoring for Environmental Protection project in Dilijan National Park
In the frames of the joint implementation of the EU-funded “Joint Monitoring for Environmental Protection in BSB countries” project, employees of Scientific Unit of “Dilijan” National Park regularly conduct inspections in the national park to study red-book and invasive herbs, tree species; the collection of materials on the populations of the target species, the occupied areas, the species features and their distribution.
