Updated results of the "Climate Change and Women in Armenia" award.
The event was organized by the United Nations Development Program within the framework of the "National Adaptation Program in Armenia" program, funded by the Green Climate Fund, and the RA Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the RA Women's Council.
The aim of the Climate Change and Women in Armenia Award was to recognize the contribution and leadership of women in actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change and to create a platform for sharing best practices and stimulating cooperation.
All programs and solutions obtained during the competition will be included and published in an e-book.
UNDP Permanent Representative Natia Natsvlishvili, Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Anna Mazmanyan, and Acting Director Erna Antonyan, Head of the Department of Human Trafficking and Women's Issues of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia N.S. delivered welcoming speeches at the closing ceremony of the competition. Mr. John Gallagher, Vice-Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Muhammad Salah, Coordinator of UNDP Climate Change Programs Diana Harutyunyan and Chairman of the NGO "Women in Climate and Energy" Nune Sakanyan
Out of 100 applications received during the competition, the authors of the 6 best projects were awarded

  Nune Harutyunyan and her women's team -EU Regional Program for the Environment " Program for efficient use of Resources and clean production,
