On the eve of the autumn national tree planting, which will take place on November 5, today the Minister of Environment Hakob Simidyan summed up the preparatory work.
Vladimir Kirakosyan, Chairman of the Forestry Committee of the Ministry, and Sevak Markosyan, Director of Armles, presented to the Minister the progress of preparatory work on tree planting.
The Minister was presented with a number of questions regarding the uniform distribution of areas, human and technical resources provided for the planting of trees.
We would like to inform you that on the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment, on November 5, a nationwide tree planting will be carried out throughout the territory of the Republic of Armenia, during which the branches of "Vayots Dzor Forestry","Aragatsotna Forestry","Artsvaberda Forestry","Tumanyan forestry" and"Sisian forestry" will be planted by planting in the branches of "Vayots Dzor Forestry","Aragatsotna Forestry","Artsvaberda forestry","Tumanyan forestry" and"Sisian forestry" about 130 hectares of forest.
Selected types of trees: pine, oak, birch, maple, ash, fig, apple, argathill.
The Chairman of the Forestry Committee also informed the Minister that preparatory and planting work for the autumn planting of trees in 2022 is already in progress and will continue until the planting of the entire planned number.
The Minister asked his colleagues to show maximum consistency and ensure proper organization of tree planting.
From the side of SNCO "Armles ", the participants of tree planting will be provided with seedlings and appropriate accessories, the territories on which the nationwide tree planting will be carried out will be designated.
