The seminar "Bringing the RA legislation into line with the EU regulations on the export and import of hazardous chemicals" has started

The seminar was attended by Deputy Minister of the Environment Gayane Gabrielyan and representatives of professional departments of the Ministry.
The purpose of the seminar is to provide advice and suggestions on the establishment of rules and regulations for the import and export of hazardous chemicals.
The expert mission will focus on the exchange of best practices of the member States of the European Union and lessons learned in order to bring the legislation of the Republic of Armenia in line with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on the Export and Import of Hazardous Chemicals No. 649/2012 of July 4, 2012.
Welcoming the participants of the seminar, Deputy Minister Gayane Gabrielyan once again stressed the importance of the agenda around which discussions will be held.
"Our European partners are willing to provide the Republic of Armenia with the TAYEX tool, and our country, for its part, should show and prove through the development of opportunities that we can accept and use such important support for us for the benefit of Armenia and the environment around the world.
The seminar will allow us to understand all the important advantages of the TAYEX tool that we can use to correct gaps in industry legislation," the Deputy Minister said.
