The Ministry of the Environment, attaching importance to increasing the responsibility of the population for nature, within the framework of the "10 million trees" initiative, makes a proposal for cooperation:
Due to large-scale forest planting, it will be possible to combat climate change, air pollution and land degradation, as well as preserve the rich biodiversity, ecosystems of Armenia and restore the forest territories damaged as a result of the 44-day war
The Ministry highly appreciates and attaches importance to effective cooperation between the public and private sectors aimed at environmental protection, the introduction of the principles of recycling, the creation of green jobs
Everyone can give new life to our country and land by taking responsibility for the safe and clean environment of our children and future generations.
In order to discuss the above proposal , on October 22 this year ,the Deputy Minister of the Environment A. Mazmanyan led a discussion meeting dedicated to cooperation within the framework of the "10 million Trees" initiative.
The meeting was attended by the acting chairman of the Forest Committee of the MoE A. Petrosyan, representatives of the professional subdivisions of the Ministry, representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia, the management staff of "Cisco Systems Armenia" LLC and "Arides" LLC.
