The format of the hunting minimum questionnaire was discussed with the heads of hunting non-governmental organizations operating in the republic.
In order to regulate the public legal relations of hunting and the hunting process, an extended discussion was organized with the participation of professional units of the Ministry of Environment, "BirdLinks Armenia" NGO and the heads of hunting non-governmental organizations operating in the republic.
The participants discussed the format of the hunting minimum questionnaire, which is currently under development.
The exam will be aimed at testing the knowledge of hunters (and applicants) about the legislation regulating the sphere, hunting rules, knowledge and identification of hunting animals, as well as skills of differentiation of animal species listed in the Red Book.
Samples of the questionnaire were discussed.
A number of comments and observations were made by hunting non-governmental organizations, which will be reviewed and analyzed by specialists in order to further improve the examination questions.
Hunters will need retraining to prepare for the exam.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct a pilot course of examination and retraining in Yerevan, Shirak and Vayots Dzor regions.
