The draft law "On Amendments to the RA Law "On Hydrometeorological Activities" proposes to grant the authorized body the authority to maintain a register of individuals and legal entities providing services in the field of meteorology and weather forecasting.
The proposed addition to the law is due to the need to take into account persons in the field of meteorology and weather forecasting, the formation of a single market for services within the EAEU, and the exchange of data on market participants.
The draft was discussed at the meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration on May 2.
Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Gayane Gabrielyan said that the adoption of the draft will ensure the harmony of the law with the legal regulations of the EAEU.
The only country that has not yet fulfilled this obligation is the Republic of Armenia," the Deputy Minister said.
According to the Deputy Minister, editorial changes were made from the first to the second reading.
The Commission gave the project a positive conclusion.
