The results of the applications submitted for the tender for the organization and maintenance of water recreation on 5 public beaches of Lake Sevan were summed up in the "Sevan" National Park

The commission formed to review the bids, headed by Deputy Minister Aram Meimaryan, reviewed the investment projects submitted for each lot.
In the presence of the members of the commission and the applicants, the software packages were opened, which were presented in sealed envelopes.
The Commission considered the compliance of each of them with the criteria submitted in advance for the competition. These are: compliance with the requirements and conditions of the competition, the amount of the proposed high fee, the possibility of operating the facility in a short time (realistic time), the amount of investment (availability of financial guarantees), stability (continuity) of the planned activity, socio-economic component (the number of jobs created). Impact on the socio-economic development of the territory), risk assessment and the availability of measures to overcome them.
One of the public beaches with investment programs recognized as winners is located on the coastline from the Sevan-Gavar highway to the lake, located within the administrative boundaries of the Lchashen settlement of the Sevan community, and the second is on the coastline from the Sevan-Chambarak highway to the lake adjacent to the Tsovagyuh settlement of the Sevan community.
Contracts will be signed with the winners.
Congratulating the authors of the winning investment programs, Deputy Minister Aram Meimaryan expressed hope that in the foreseeable future the first results of the implementation of the steps indicated in the programs will already be noticeable. The Deputy Minister also asked to maintain close contact with the communities adjacent to the beaches, also contributing to solving the social problems of these settlements.
The Deputy Minister also said that it is necessary to strictly comply with the requirements for public beaches and to set a new standard for recreation on a public beach and lake shore, which will become an example for other economic entities, since this process will be lengthy.
