As part of the working visit to "Sevan" National Park, the Deputy Minister Aram Meymaryan, the head of the Ministry's Specially Protected Areas and Biodiversity Policy Department, Voskehat Grigoryan, accompanied by the Acting Director of the National Park, Karen Mnatsakanyan, visited the museum of the National Park.
The National Park Museum has been operating since 1996.
The museum exhibits a diverse collection that tells about the flora and fauna of Sevan National Park, as well as the history and daily life.  The rich collection of birds is especially striking.  And the jewel of the museum is considered to be the Sevan Lake trout exhibit, weighing 16 kg and 95 cm long.
The deputy minister toured the museum, familiarized himself with the conditions of the building, the conditions of keeping the exhibits, talked with the employees.
Aram Meymaryan discussed the possibilities of re-equipping the museum and making it conform to modern requirements.
