“Sevan” national park SNCO hosted under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI), the Ministry of Environment-coordinated and the Czech Republic and the Finnish consortium-run “Strengthened protection and sustainable use of biodiversity in Armenia in line with European standards” Twinning project Leader David LaChina and Project Manager Jaromir Chlapec project 
The priority issues of balancing the ecosystem of Lake Sevan, the pollution of the rivers flowing into the lake, the installation of wastewater treatment plants, as well as biodiversity conservation of the park area were discussed with the Director of "Sevan” NP SNCO and other participants. It was also made reference to 2007-2011 management plan update of  "Sevan" National Park.
At the end of the meeting, the participants visited the SNCO’s Visitor Center, where they got acquainted with the flora and fauna exhibits of the park.
 “Sevan” national park SNCO expressed readiness and support to the initiators of the project; an agreement was reached for further cooperation.
