According to the RA law on “Trade and Services” From January 1, 2022, the selling of plastic bags up to 50 microns thick will be banned, as well as their free provision:

•  In trade facilities,
•  In shopping places,
•  In itinerant shops,
•  At retail outlets,
•  As well as in the case of outdoor trade.

The ban doesn’t concern to

• bags for weighing,
• bags made from secondary raw materials.

This can be considered as the first and the most important step towards reducing the volume of this product, which has a negative impact on the environment and human health.
