7 members of the Public Council under the Minister of Environment have submitted applications for termination of membership in the Council. Therefore, in order to fill the staff, the ministry announces the acceptance of applications for nomination of candidates for membership in the council.
On the instruction of the Minister of Environment Hakob Simidyan, a commission was formed (composed of Deputy Minister of Environment, Secretary General of the Ministry, Adviser to the Minister, representatives of the Strategic Policy Department, Legal Department, Public Relations Department), which will select new board members according to objective and impartial criteria.
The Public Council under the Minister of Environment is an independent advisory body that coordinates public participation in the development of environmental plans, programs and policies.
The council operates on a voluntary basis.
Applications for membership in the Council can be submitted to press@env.am via e-mail, with the heading "Public Council" in the header.
The application must include:
- Name surname
- Company Name
- Summary of the last three years of the organization / individual activity
- If it is an organization, manage the data
- What other NGOs / initiatives does it collaborate with?
- Problems requiring priority solution in the field of nature protection - a brief description of the planned actions to solve them
- Phone number
The deadline for applications is March 2 of this year.
The election of the staff of the Public Council will be carried out by a commission set up for that purpose on the instruction of the Minister.
