On November 6-18, the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, which was attended by national delegations from different countries, representatives of international organizations, academia, the private sector, including delegations from the Republic of Armenia.
Security issues related to climate change were discussed. The Heads of State and Government made statements in which they presented their position and vision of their country in the field of ecology and natural resource management.
Deputy Minister Gayane Gabrielyan said that the initiative, which is very important for developing countries, was approved at this forum.
In addition, to be able to use financial support to mitigate the negative effects of climate change, that is, we have additional funds," Gayane Gabrielyan said.
They may relate to agriculture, in particular to land degradation, to natural monuments that suffer from the effects of climate change.
