The online training on "Circular Economy Practice" was organized for Armenian experts and specialists on October 5, 2021 as a component of the "European Union for Environment" (EU4Environment Action) action capacity development, within the framework of "Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production". 
Led by UNIDO and the training conducted by the Armenian branch of The Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus) was aimed at disseminating and implementing the best practices of the circular economy, where the waste and accumulated materials as a result of production, are directed to the production of new products in various sectors of industry,  using water and energy resources, waste recycling and sustainable management solutions.
The training started with the greeting speech of the Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Mrs. Anna Mazmanyan and the Head of the Cooperation Section of EU Delegation to Armenia  Andrea Baggioli.   
 "We are pleased to express our support for the EU-funded "European Union for Environment" (EU4Environment Action) particularly the component of The Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus, which promotes and continues to strengthen (REC Caucasus) practices in SMEs based on the potential of national and turnover experts, we strongly support the development of  (REC Caucasus)  and circular economy capacity, with particular emphasis on the huge experience gained during the project. It will be useful for the Ministry of Environment of RA, which is currently developing a circular economy strategy, as well as implements the EU Green Deal Action Planning process, ”said the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment of RA  Mrs. Anna Mazmanyan.   
The training was conducted with the participation of (REC Caucasus)  experts, the Ministry of Environment of RA and the Ministry of Economy of RA, civil society, active environmental groups, educational institutions, (REC Caucasus) representatives of National Professional Network.
