Tree planting has already started on the territory of the Sevan National Park, located within the administrative boundaries of the Vardenik and Nerkin Getashen communities of the Martuni district.
It is planned to plant about 5,000 trees during 2022 and about 1,000 trees have been planted so far.
It is planned to provide about 3,000 more trees from the nursery of the Sevan National Park to the administration of the Gegharkunik region and the communities of the region for tree planting.
