June 5 1972 was proclaimed the World Environment Day by the UN, and since 2004 it has been celebrated in Armenia as Ecologist’s Day .
It is observed every year, and is a way for all ecologists and environmental organizations to focus the international community's attention on environmental issues, as well as to raise political interest in relevant environmental actions.

Today, the development of a reasonable attitude towards nature in a person has both become a pivotal precondition for streamlining human coexistence and for increasing the welfare of every country and strengthening of its statehood.
First of all, an ecologist is not a profession, since a title: you must love nature in order to stand for and combat problems. The nature of Armenia is our common wealth, and taking care of it is the responsibility of each of us.
