Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan reported today at the regular session of the third session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly on the adoption in the second reading and in full of the draft law "On Amendments to the RA Law "On Hydrometeorological Activities".
The adoption of the RA draft law " On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia " On Hydrometeorological Activities " is due to the need to fulfill the requirements of the decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the EAEU No. 4 dated May 29, 2019 and to grant the authorized body the authority to maintain a register of individuals and legal entities providing services in the field of meteorology and weather forecast.
The adoption of the draft will make it possible to harmonize the law with the legal regulations of the EAEU, contributing to the effective implementation of a unified policy and international obligations in the provision of meteorological services.
