Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decree on setting up an interdepartmental coordination council implementing the requirements and provisions of  the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement,  approving its composition, work procedure, and revoking RA Prime Minister's N955-A  (October 2, 2012 )
In accordance with 16th paragraph of Article 7 of the law on “Structure and Activities of the Government”, Article 37 of the law on “Normative Legal Acts”, 4.8 section of the Annex of the N 65-A decree (February 8, 2019) of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, 90.3 point  of Annex 1 of the N 650-L decree (May 16, 2019) of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, and obligations assumed under the provisions of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement:
 To establish interdepartmental coordination council implementing the requirements and provisions of  the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Council) 
 To approve:
 The composition of the council in accordance with Annex 1.
 Work procedure of the Council in accordance with Annex 2.
 To the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia:
 To approve the individual composition of the council within 3 months:
  To set up  interdepartmental permanent working groups within 3 months with the objective to ensure the professional and expert works of the council, to approve their compositions and work procedures.
To appoint Acting Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Romanos Petrosyan in a relevant structural subdivision of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, performing the functions of the Secretariat of the Council within 1 month.
 The heads of state bodies included in the Council shall inform the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia about appointing their representatives in the Council after the decree enters into force, within 3 months.
 To revoke 955-A decision (October 2, 2012) of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia on "Approving the composition and work procedure of interdepartmental coordination council implementing the requirements and provisions of  the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement”.
