Environment Day in Dilijan National Park is Marked by an Eco-Cultural Event

The results of the competition "Environment without plastic" were summed up in the Dilijan National Park in the "Caucasian Breeding Center for Red Deer".
An exhibition of paintings and waste entitled "environment without plastic" was organized for visitors of the center and guests of the event.
On the occasion of the day, Acting Director of the Dilijan National Park Armen Ghazaryan, Head of the Department of Specially Protected Natural Territories and Biodiversity Policy of the Ministry of Environment Voskeat Grigoryan and Head of the Armenian Office of the World Wide Fund for Nature Karen Manvelyan delivered congratulatory messages and welcoming speeches.
"Looking at handmade products and paintings made by children, and such childish behavior towards nature in general, we are filled with great hope that in the future nature protection will be in safe hands. I express my gratitude to all the teachers and specialists who are responsible for the efforts aimed at preserving the nature visible in your eyes.
Only steps aimed at improving the quality of environmental education, raising public awareness, and forming the ecological consciousness of society can ensure the responsible attitude of individuals and society to the environment in all forms of activity, improving the quality of life and the right to live in a healthy environment," said the head of the Department of Specially Protected Natural Territories and Biodiversity Policy of the Voskeat Grigoryan.
After the end of the festive part of the event, the participating children were awarded diplomas and incentive gifts.
