Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan took part in an interdepartmental discussion convened on March 24 at the initiative of Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hovhannes Harutyunyan on the process of developing a strategy for the development of the mining industry.
The meeting was attended by representatives of professional departments of the Ministries of Environment, Economy, Finance, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body and the World Bank.
The expert group of the consultant of the Grant Thornton company presented the overall goal of the strategy, the structure and addressed the individual points of the program.
As a result of the questions and answers, there were suggestions that will find a place in the revised version of the Strategy document.
