“Dilijan National Park” SNCO has a new Acting Director

Minister Hakob Simidyan and Deputy Minister Aram Meymaryan were on a working visit to the Dilijan National Park. The Minister introduced the new Acting Director of the National Park Robert Alikhanyan to the staff of the National Park and held an extended meeting with the staff on current working issues and inventory issues.
The Minister expressed confidence in the transfer of further activities of the National Park into safe hands.
Mr. Alikhanyan has been the head of the Department of Science, Monitoring and Tourism of the National Park for a long time and is well aware of both the existing problems and the vision of their solution.
The Minister expressed hope that this work experience will best serve to increase the efficiency of the Dilijan National Park.
The Minister pointed out and stressed the importance of preventing illegal logging in the national park and spoke about structural changes.
A project for the introduction of a round-the-clock service in specially protected natural areas and its effectiveness was presented.
Presenting the upcoming tasks to the newly appointed Director, Minister Hakob Simidyan highlighted the steps that need to be taken in the direction of developing the professional abilities of the employees of the National Park, and stressed the importance of the contribution of individual efforts of each employee to solving the problems facing the National Park.
Deputy Minister, Coordinator of the sphere Aram Meymaryan, congratulating the newly appointed director, spoke about the main areas in which more efforts are needed to achieve progress. The Deputy Minister also noted the importance of consistent teamwork on a daily basis and expressed the hope that in case of any problem, a quick response and solution will not take long to wait.
