At the initiative of Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia Vache Terteryan, a meeting was held with colleagues from the environmental NGO "My Forest Armenia", the charitable foundation "ATP" and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meimaryan, Acting Head of the Forest Policy Department of the Ministry Aram Sahakyan and Deputy Director of the “Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center” SNCO Arman Avagyan.
The purpose of the meeting was to find ways to promote the creation of a new forest cover in Armenia.
As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached to organize the next meeting at the Ministry of Environment for a more detailed discussion and organization of further actions/
