Today, Deputy Minister of Environment Anna Mazmanyan and Secretary General of the Ministry Grigor Ghoulyan met Stefan Weignel, Authorized representative of the consulting company GITEC-IGIP GmbH, and Head of the international team of consultants Michael Blimsrider.
The meeting was attended by representatives of professional departments of the Ministry of Environment.
At the meeting, a number of current working issues were discussed regarding the extended term of the “Support Program for Protected Areas-Armenia” (SPPA-A) project implemented with the financing of KfW Bank within the framework of German Financial Cooperation.
Deputy Minister Anna Mazmanyan noted that the expansion and strengthening of international cooperation is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry attaches great importance to the direction of international financial flows for the implementation of various environmental programs.
