“De-risking and Scaling-up Investment in Energy Efficient Building Retrofits” UNDP-GCF project is implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Armenia (UNDP) with the financing of the Green Climate Fund under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment.
In case of partial thermal modernization, the roof of the building is mainly insulated, energy-efficient doors and windows are installed in common areas, the lighting system is changed.
In case of complete thermal modernization, all this is added to the thermal insulation of the exterior walls of the building as well as the basement roof.
Due to thermal modernization, heating costs in apartment buildings are reduced by about 50%, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced, the market value of apartments is increased by 15-20%, and buildings become more attractive.
