Yesterday an enlarged meeting was held at the Ministry of Environment chaired by the Minister Romanos Petrosyan, in which the leadership of the Forest Policy Department of the Ministry of Environment, the Forest Committee, "Hayantar" SNCO, the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center " SNCO and representatives of professional subdivisions took part.
The issue of cooperation between the two most important SNCOs under the Ministry of Environment was discussed. In particular, issues related to increasing the efficiency of deforestation and forest sector management and inventory issues were discussed.
As a result of the consultation, a decision was made to hold a meeting each month on the issues registered in the reporting period of the previous month and to study them and to combine the data received by the Forest Monitoring Service of the "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center " SNCO and the results of inspections carried out by "Hayantar" SNCO.
