Changes in the RA Forest Code

The government and state bodies can adopt regulatory legal acts if the authority to adopt them is granted by the Constitution or laws.
Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meimaryan stated this at a meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environmental Protection on April 27.
According to the Deputy Minister, many regulatory legal acts regulating the forest sector are currently in force, but there are no permissive norms fixed by law.
The Ministry of Environment proposes to make amendments and additions to the RA Forest Code and to fix the permitting norms in the Code regarding the existing legal acts.
The Deputy Minister presented that with the adoption of the initiative, the legal acts of the forest sector will be brought into line with Article 6 of the Constitution.
The Commission gave a positive conclusion to the draft law.
