Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meymaryan and Head of the Specially Protected Areas and Biodiversity Policy Department of the Ministry Voskehat Grigoryan received the executive director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) Tobias Münkhmayer and the director of the Armenian representation of the Caucasus Nature Fund Arman Vermishyan.
 The Ministry of Environment has a long and successful experience of cooperation with the Caucasus Nature Foundation.  CNF has been working in Armenia since 2009, providing support to the specially protected natural areas of Armenia.
 Welcoming the partners, Deputy Minister Aram Meymaryan emphasized the continuity of this cooperation and the existence of an atmosphere of mutual trust between the partners.
 During the meeting, reference was made to the "10-year systematic monitoring program of biodiversity of Armenia", as well as the format of support to specially protected areas of nature.
 The deputy minister informed that all the raised issues related to the protected areas are always under the attention of the ministry.
 At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to continue and expand regular discussions of agenda issues.
