In social networks, regarding the concern of environmentalists and citizens about the pollution of the Yerevan Lake, we would like to inform that in accordance with the law "On targeted use of environmental tax maid by companies", the Ministry of Environment has agreed on the environmental program developed by the Yerevan Municipality "work to clean up the shores of Yerevan Lake and  the Hrazdan River" in the amount of 60.4 million drams.
The total amount of the program is about 113 million drams.
The event is already included in the framework of the "Implementation of Environmental Programs in Communities" project of the RA draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2022", it will start in 2022.
The main goal of the program is to improve the ecological condition of Yerevan Lake and the Hrazdan Gorge, turning it into a recreational zone that meets the requirements established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
Objectives of the program:
   - to reduce further entry of household waste into the Hrazdan River and Lake Yerevan,
   - reduce the level of pollution,
   - prevent the spread of pollution.
Dear citizens, of course, it is very important to state and voice events, but it is equally important not to contribute to the deterioration of the situation by your behavior. It is necessary to show more caring and responsible behavior towards nature and the environment.
