Under the 3rd stage of "Financial Participatory Approach" component of "SPPA-A" project, a project competition was held for the 4 target cities of the SPPA-A program in RA Syunik region: Kapan, Kajaran, Meghri and Agarak. The programs illustrated by the schools were on environmental topics, and the amount of grants given to implement the programs, to instill love for nature in schoolchildren and perform environmental education activities amounted to up to 1.500.000 AMD.
The 11 winning schools that submitted a grant application are:
Kapan Basic School N1, N3 Secondary School, N4 Secondary School , N5 Basic School, N6 Basic School, N12 Basic School
Kajaran N5 Secondary School and N6 Basic School
Meghri N1 Secondary School and N2 Secondary School 
Agarak secondary school.
All program applications were accepted anonymously, evaluated by the assessment working group, which included employees of the RA MoE, relevant experts from educational, scientific, non-governmental and other organizations, as well as independent experts.
Khustup Environmental NGO was selected as an organization supporting the implementation of the FPA-3 component measures.
