Minister of Environment Hakob Simidyan paid a working visit to "Sevan Trout" CJSC small fish breeding factory and trout breeding net farm in Karchaghbyur community of Gegharkunik region.
The minister, along with the Governor of Gegharkunik, Deputy Minister Aram Meymaryan, the head of "Sevan" National Park, the representatives of "Sevan Trout Stock Restoration and Fisheries Development Fund" and "Sevan Trout" CJSC, participated in the next batch of small fish, about 130,000 pieces of viable small fish lake of Gegharkunik trout. to omission.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, not only regulates commercial fishing, but also began to preserve and increase the amount of fish stock in the lake.
The Minister instructed the representatives of the "Sevan" National Park to show consistency so that the released small fish does not end up in the nets of poachers.
The visit continued with a tour of the factory area, where the minister got acquainted with the available capacities and opportunities, then discussed with the representatives of the company managing the economy a number of important issues related to the restoration of the Lake Sevan ecosystem and the full realization of the plant's capacities.
