The Deputy Minister, together with the heads of the professional departments of the Ministry and the National Park and Nature Reserve Complex, made a tour of the arboretum to get acquainted with the situation and existing problems on the spot.
The Deputy Minister was presented with the problem of drying trees and shrubs in the arboretum and irrigation of the territory.
Aram Meymaryan examined parts of the previously installed pavilions. The pavilions were dismantled, the territory was returned to its former appearance.
In addition to getting acquainted with the situation in the arboretum, the Deputy Minister also got acquainted with the construction works carried out by CJSC Ijevan Wine and Brandy Factory on the riverbed of the Agstev River, then met with the plant's management to discuss the possibilities of cooperation with the arboretum for the benefit of solving environmental problems of the territory.
