On April 17, 2021, the Ministry of Environment sent a relevent  letter to the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources based on the photos – with reference to illegal cutting of trees in the area of “Dilijan” national park - posted on the Facebook page of "Environmentalist's House" public initiative.
The employees of the territorial unit  of the inspectorate supervised an on-site inspection, as a result of which 46 various tree trunks were revealed. 1.375.205 AMD was calculated as  damage  caused to the flora.

 The corresponding materials were sent to the RA Prosecutor's Office to ensure the further process.
In similiar cases, we urge all RA citizens to immediately call the RA Police, the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources or apply to the Ministry of Environment.
