The app was developed within the framework of the cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ in Armenia).
The application is envisaged for iOS or Android mobile device operating systems (Smartphones).
 The app can be downloaded from  App Store and Google Play Store.
The Red Book of Armenia mobile application aims to raise scientific, eco-educational  cognition.
It enables to get acquainted with the biological classification, number, places of habitat and distribution, morphology of the species registered in the Red Book of Animals and Plants of the Republic of Armenia and other information.
An interactive map allows you to see the prevalence of these species.
The app’s "Feedback" interactive tool enables the user to participate in researches and data collection of the Red Book species. This can be done by conveying photos or other information of the species detected in the field.
