During the meeting held on December 20 in the administration of Gegharkunik region, a program of measures for the temporary cessation of commercial fishing in Lake Sevan in connection with the whitefish spawning period was discussed.
The meeting was held by the Governor of Gegharkunik region Karen Sargsyan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the RA Police, the Ministry of Environment of RA, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, the Gegharkunik Regional Administration and community leaders.
