The Armenian delegation has already been formed, and the latest technical issues are in the process.A number of important bilateral meetings and discussions with delegations, representatives of international structures and organizations are planned. Climate change is also a macro-critical problem for Armenia, and this problem is also kept in the five-year program of activity of our government. Within the framework of this agenda, the Ministry of the Environment is in contact with the Green Climate Foundation, the Global Environment Facility and our other partners at the highest level.",- the Minister Romanos Petrosyan noted in his welcoming speech with an online format.
The Minister also touched upon the summer of this year, which was the hottest in the history of forecasts of the Armenian hydrometeorology for the last century, during which Armenia and the Armenian society faced a number of problems, including the problems of pre-match lack of water.
"It was a strong signal for our country to take serious steps to change its climate change policy"- the minister said.
