Approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated November 21, 2019 No. 1667-N "On establishing the number, forms and procedure for organizing commercial hunting for fish and crayfish in Lake Sevan", the annex to the decision approved the size of commercial hunting for whitefish for 2022.
In order of "commercial experimental whitefish fishing on Lake Sevan" 
- the weight of the fish should be at least 400 grams,
- fishing nets must be enclosed in an appropriate protocol when not using clogged, damaged unsuitable fishing nets,
- Whitefish hunting is carried out throughout the territory of Lake Sevan, at a distance of at least 500 m from the shore,
- Commercial whitefish hunting is carried out with the help of the bottom (the size of the constructive step of the grid is 40 mm or more),
- It is prohibited to hunt with knotted, machine-made or hand-made, synthetic nylon or other polyamide fibers with a thread diameter of less than 0.5 mm and a mesh cage size of less than 80 mm (the size of the structural step of the mesh is less than 40 mm) fishing nets,
- To establish the validity period of agreements on the use of animal stocks on Lake Sevan from April 1, 2022 to September 1, 2022.
- Those who wish to hunt whitefish for commercial purposes on Lake Sevan can until c. in 2000. On April 14, inclusive, submit applications for the conclusion of the contract to the SNCO " Sevan National Park " and its branches.
