Since January 1, the use of plastic bags and bags up to 50 microns thick at retail facilities is prohibited, with the exception of bags intended for weighing and made from secondary raw materials
Economic entities were given about two years to abandon plastic bags and find new safe solutions from an environmental point of view:
Yerevan Municipality / Yerevan Municipality and administrative districts employees conduct inspections, and violators are fined.
The control will be daily.
The main purpose of legislative changes is to solve environmental problems.
