Several violations caused by "Aragats Perlite" OJSC.

Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body /EPMIB has received complaints from gardeners of the Aragatsavan village of Aragatsotn region about dust emissions caused by the activities of "Aragats Perlite" OJSC.
EPMIB employees conducted a study on the spot, then conducted an inspection at JSC "Aragats Perlite" OJSC as a result of which a number of violations of environmental standards were revealed.
Particularly, the company operated the mine without quantities /permits for the release of pollutants from stationary sources issued on the basis of the maximum permissible emissions project.
The conditions of the project of maximum permissible emissions and permits for emissions of air pollutants have not been met.
There was no inventory of waste.
Not processed for waste generation-for primary accounting and unified waste accounting-general accounting books.
Quarterly reports did not include the amount of harmful substances emitted from the perlite mine area.
During the work on all types of subsurface use, geological documentation was not preserved and was not processed.
It was not done in the intensive water of the dust generating centers for the purpose of dusting.
The extraction of minerals was not carried out in accordance with the norms established by the subsoil use agreement.
Reliable accounting of the movement of mineral reserves has not been carried out.
No payments were made for the use of mineral resources, in particular, payments for monitoring.
The authorized body has not been provided with annual summary reports on the results of planned monitoring in order to reduce environmental losses and prevent irrevocable impacts due to the use of mineral resources.
3 administrative fines in the amount of 300,000 drams have been imposed on the company.
The amount of compensation for environmental damage amounted to 463,500 drams.
"Aragats Perlite" OJSC has been given instructions to eliminate violations.
