The meeting was attended by Artur Asoyan, Head of the Office for Coordination of Work of Inspection Bodies of the RA Prime Minister's Office, Armen Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Justice, Ani Ispirian, Deputy Minister of Economy, Hovhannes Harutunyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Hovhannes Martirosyan, Head of the Nature and Subsoil Protection Inspection Body, Hovhannes Martirosyan, Head of the Department of Regional Geology and Mineral Exploration of the Faculty of Geography and Geology of Yerevan State University, Candidate of Geological Sciences, Associate Professor Shagen Khachatryan, Suren Melikyan, a member of the Mantashyants Union of Entrepreneurs, and Yurik Hakobyan, a representative of the NGO "Union of Geologists of Armenia". The agenda of the meeting included 6 issues. The Council first discussed the issues of approving the budget application of the Inspection Body for the Protection of Nature and Subsoil of the Republic of Armenia for 2023, approving changes to the staffing table and approving the transfer of unused funds of the Inspection Body in the next quarter. The agenda also included issues on the approval of the effectiveness assessments of the Quality Assurance Department of Nature and Subsoil Protection of the Republic of Armenia for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2021 and the approval of reports, as well as on the approval of the effectiveness assessment of the quality assurance Department of the Inspection Body for the 1st quarter of 2022 and the approval of the report. During the meeting, mechanisms for improving the efficiency of the Inspection Body were discussed, the voiced problems and proposals were taken into account by the Council.
