Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed Minister Hakob Simidyan to the staff of the Ministry of Environment

The Prime Minister thanked former Minister Romanos Petrosyan for his work in that position, congratulated him and wished success to Hakob Simidyan. "Mr. Petrosyan will assume a new position. You know, he has already been appointed head of the State Control Service. Mr. Simidyan is being appointed a member of the Government for the first time, I want to wish him success in this powerful and responsible position. Today, the environment is of strategic importance not only for Armenia, but also globally. Of course, the Republic of Armenia must act here as a responsible member of the international community, our national policy must also be based on this logic, on our national state interests," said Nikol Pashinyan.
Romanos Petrosyan thanked the staff of the ministry for the joint work and congratulated Hakob Simidyan. "After about a year and a half of cooperation, we have initiated a lot of reforms with this team, which also coincided with a rather difficult period for our state. I'm sure this team came out of this period with honor. Congratulations to Mr. Simidyan on his new appointment. Being well acquainted with the personal and professional qualities of our political partner, I am sure that with the same team, with different transfers, Mr. Simidyan will set a new benchmark in the most important field of Environmental Management".
The newly appointed Minister, in turn, thanked for the trust. "I would like to thank Mr. Petrosyan for leading such a difficult field in a difficult period. The programs that are currently being implemented by the ministry will be continuous, we will try to make the work more effective. I hope that with them we will boost the environment, why not, we will develop the economy," said Hakob Simidyan.
