According to the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan, who is on a working visit to the Republic of France, met with the officials of the Paris headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
In particular, meetings and discussions were held with the head of the OECD water sector management programs and leading experts regarding the international best practice of ensuring water sector strategy, financial and economic stable mechanisms and the possibilities of its implementation in Armenia.
Within the framework of the visit, the transboundary issues in the water sector and the successes recorded by Armenia were discussed with the representative of the European and Economic Commission of the United Nations.
Reference was made in 2023. to the water summit planned in New York in March, including questions about Armenia's participation.
