The Director of the "Zangezur "Biosphere Complex of the Ministry of Environment Arman Mkrtchyan recorded with camera the Caucasian leopard with its cubs during a night visit.
Nature is being restored, and this unique shooting of a leopard obliges us to continue to be more attentive and to further strengthen the protection system of the "Zangezur" Biosphere Complex SNCO.
We remind that the Caucasian subspecies of leopard (Panthera pardus tulliana) lives in Armenia, it is registered in the Red Book of Armenia and in the red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) – with the "critical" status.
